We are pleased to announce we achieved an impressive second place at the recent Tech Pitchfest, at UK HR technologies.
HR Technologies UK organised a two-day conference (May 3rd to 4th, 2023), bringing together the UK's HR and recruitment community to explore the future of technology-driven HR. The event served as a hub for discussions, collaborations, and introductions to innovative human resources software solutions.
The conference featured a diverse range of speakers from leading and progressive HR technology companies, offering valuable insights and thought-provoking content. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, presentations, round tables, and networking events, covering a wide range of topics pertinent to today's HR landscape.
The programme addressed areas such as talent management and recruitment, career development, performance monitoring, marketing and employer branding, wellbeing, leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), pre-screening background checks. human capital management, change management, and more.
Zinc's VP of Sales, Patrick White, delivered two skilful pitches during the event. In the first round, he highlighted Zinc's features and benefits within a strict 10-minute time limit, captivating the judges and audience. In the second round, with only 6 minutes, Patrick conveyed Zinc's essence, leaving a lasting impression. Thanks to his exceptional presentations, Zinc secured joint second place, solidifying our position as an HR technology innovator.
In addition to his impressive performance at the Pitchfest, Patrick also presented a talk on the future of background checking, highlighting the rapid changes in legislation, rising candidate expectations, brand and legal risk management, and the role of automation. His talks shed light on the importance of staying ahead in the rapidly evolving HR landscape and provided actionable insights to help professionals protect themselves and their organisations.
