In Hungary, immigration compliance is required for all employees. Criminal record checks are also required for certain occupations, including judges, attorneys, public servants, and auditors. For other positions, criminal record checks may be performed if they provide important information related to the job or work being performed. Education and reference checks may also be conducted if they are necessary to obtain important information for the purpose of entering into employment.
