How it works

Request integration

Contact the Teamtailor support team (support@teamtailor.com) to request your Teamtailor API key and the Zinc integration be activated.

Add key to Zinc

In Zinc, click on the Settings icon in the bottom left of the account. After you've added payment details, you'll see a Company tab, scroll to "Add API key", then paste your Teamtailor key in here.

Customise your checks

Decide with your Zinc account manager which checks you'd like to conduct depending on your company’s needs and customise any reference questions. You can create multiple packages which you can access directly from Teamtailor.

Add Zinc as a trigger

In a Teamtailor job, navigate to triggers and add “Send reference, Zinc”. Choose your check package and optionally write a personalised note. When a candidate reaches that stage, a check request is triggered automatically.

What happens next

Let Zinc work
Zinc will contact your candidate via email and text, asking them to complete the background checks you have chosen. We send automated reminders to ensure that you get your checks in good time.
Track the progress
View the current status of the checks for each candidate in your ATS. We will notify you via email when an individual check has been completed.
View insights
View your candidate reports directly from your ATS. Enabling better hiring decisions without leaving your ATS or HRIS.
