In Russia, education checks, criminal records checks and identity checks are all permissible for new candidates. However, credit and medical screening can only be performed with restrictions. In Sao Tome and Principe, education and criminal records checks are permissible for new candidates, as well as some financial checks. However, due to the sensitivity of information that may be obtained through these checks, they are permissible with certain restrictions.
