How to set up the pinpoint and Zinc integration

Setting up Pinpoint to work with Zinc is super simple.

Step 1: Requesting integration with Zinc - To start using Zinc, you need to contact Pinpoint and request for integration. Pinpoint will guide you to obtain an API key from your Pinpoint account.

Step 2: Adding API key to Zinc - Once you have the API key, you need to add it to your Zinc account. This can be done under the integrations section of your company page on Zinc. Note that you must have admin privileges on Zinc to perform this step.

Step 3: Selecting Zinc in Pinpoint - After adding the API key, you will have the option to select Zinc in your Pinpoint ATS. A list of available background check packages will be displayed for you to choose from for each candidate.

Step 4: Letting Zinc work - Zinc will then automatically reach out to the candidates via email and text, requesting them to complete the selected background checks. Zinc will also send automated reminders to ensure timely completion of the checks. You can track the progress of the checks for each candidate in your ATS and receive notifications via email when a check is completed. You can also view the candidate reports directly from your ATS, allowing for informed hiring decisions without leaving your HRIS or ATS.
