How to Get Notified When a Candidate Needs to Provide More Details

“Why is the check stuck in pending?”

“Is there anything we can do to speed up the check?”

“Has the candidate submitted all the required documents?”

As a recruiter, there’s nothing more frustrating than wondering if there is a problem with a candidate’s onboarding process and not having the necessary context to understand what can be done.

With this update, we're introducing a new status 'awaiting candidate' which will show when we've needed to collect additional information from a candidate after their initial submission. This will be visible on the recruit table, in the new progress panel and via email notification. Additionally we will display when a candidate has not responded to our team within 2 weeks.

Digging into the detail

To give you a clear indication of whether a check is moving forward there are now 4 distinct sections in the progress panel:

  1. Not started
  2. Awaiting candidate info
  3. Awaiting verification
  4. Completed

Within the awaiting candidate info section, we will show:

  • Which check is impacted
  • When we first contacted the candidate to provide this
